Thank you to everyone who participated in our Photo Competition on the topic of Horizon. The submissions showed how many different ways a horizon can appear — as a landscape line, a threshold, a boundary, or a moment of possibility.
In the philosophy of orientation, a horizon is not just something we see. It is the limit that allows something to become visible and meaningful in the first place. Horizons frame what we can notice — and they shift as we move.
After reviewing all submissions and your votes on Instagram, we are happy to announce the winner of this year’s Horizon Photo Competition:
🏆 @donafelizona
Congratulations on capturing a horizon that invites us to pause and reflect on where we stand — and what becomes visible from there.
A warm thank you as well to all finalists and participants who shared their perspectives with us. Each submission helped expand the many ways we can think about horizons. If you would like to see the winners of former competitions, follow this link.
